Ian Goh

Ian Goh, Founding Partner of 01VC, is a veteran venture capitalist with a track record of early investments in innovative companies like Lalamove, Xtransfer, and Hai Robotics. His extensive experience includes partnerships at Matrix Partners China and Kleiner Perkins China, providing him with deep insights into the Asian tech landscape.
Born in Singapore and educated in Australia, Ian brings a global perspective to his role. With over two decades in venture capital and a career that began at Lycos Asia in 2001, Ian leads 01VC in its mission to fuel tomorrow's innovators and support Chinese companies in their global expansion.

Yong Zhao
Founder
Yong Zhao is Founding Partner of 01VC. From 2009 to 2015, Yong Zhao worked at Kingnet Corp as Co-Founder and COO. Kingnet is a leading Internet gaming company based in Shanghai which went public on Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZ002517). Prior to Kingnet, Yong worked at KPCB China as Vice President, where he invested 10+ leading companies in Internet and Consumer sectors, including China Car Rental and ChineseAll (SZ300364). Yong had also worked for McKinsey and Accenture.
Yong received his MBA degree from Columbia University, and Engineering & Economics dual-major Bachelor degree from Tsinghua University。

Grace Yu
Managing Partner
Grace Yu is a seasoned investment professional with a decade of experience focusing on early-growth opportunities in supply chain technology. Her expertise spans both manufacturing and consumption sectors, where she has been instrumental in due diligence, decision-making, and portfolio management for over 90 cases. Notable investments include HAI Robotics, YesMRO, Bangbang Robot, and OkkiCRM.
Prior to joining 01VC, Grace began her career at Meridian Capital China, concentrating on Internet and SaaS investments. This foundation, combined with her M.A. from the University of Leicester, equips Grace with a comprehensive understanding of technology investment landscapes, particularly in supply chain innovation and automation.

Young Tao
Executive Director
Young Tao specializes in early-stage investments in enterprise services and the cross-border expansion of Chinese startups at 01VC. His portfolio includes successful investments in XTransfer, Xendit, TYMO, CartX, Bangbang Robot, and FLEXTAIL, demonstrating his keen eye for innovative and globally-oriented ventures.
Before his transition to venture capital, Young was an accomplished IC design and verification engineer at Realtek in Suzhou, where he contributed to the tape-out of several Ethernet Switch IC chips. This technical background, combined with his M.E. in integrated circuit design from Southeast University, provides Young with a unique perspective in identifying and nurturing technology-driven startups with global potential.

Hua Tan
Finance and Risk Control Director
Tan Hua, with 01VC since 2015, brings 12 years of expertise in financial management, due diligence, and fund operations. Her experience spans RMB and US dollar funds, with a focus on compliance and portfolio management. Previously at Price Waterhouse Coopers, she gained valuable insights into auditing diverse industries and guiding Chinese companies through US IPOs.
Hua holds a master's in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and dual certifications as a Chinese (CICPA) and American (AICPA) Certified Public Accountant. Her comprehensive financial acumen and cross-cultural understanding make her an invaluable asset in navigating complex investment landscapes.
